Our first visit to the Weyhill Beer Festival, the festival has been running for a number of years with great reviews, fun and entertainment for all the family, a very well organised event with around 50 beers on offer as well as ciders and spirits for those who don’t normally drink real ale.
A fantastic line up of live musicians and bands including
Nokando supported by Outside Central and One Last Thrill
Sketches of Sound
No Way Out
The Inn Specters
Less Is More
We arrived at approximately 3 pm on Saturday to a large field full of happy people enjoying the weather and great atmosphere as well as the superb array of ales, the staff were friendly and polite and with everything you could need to enjoy an afternoon in the sun we settled down with our first pint of the day and with some food from the onsite mobile catering van from S & J Catering to be entertained. John Springett started off with a solo set which was as usual extremely good and from there we simply forgot that we were there to watch what was going on and write a review as the whole event was simply a pleasure to attend.
This is a short report and we recommend that you attend next year to enjoy the Weyhill Beer Festival for yourself, we bumped into various friends at the festival and to be fair we were a little inebriated by the time we left, as they say a picture paints a thousand words so have a look at our galley of images from the day.
